Susie was her friend and she was the only one to stand up to Grace. In return she got a "Shut the **** up" response from Mikey, Grace insulting her as she left and the whole confrontation with Lisa and Imo right after for explaining what she heard them say to Grace before the water was thrown. She put herself in the firing lines and stood up for herself AND Susie.

It has a more indirect affact on Ash to put it more clearly. The bashing going on in HND and in the public, i.e. BBBM and Lisa threat to "Beat her up" all contributed to this supposed hate for Ash enigma.--It can't be explained.
