Default Janey Cutler dies, aged 82

Quote:
Britain’s Got Talent’s “singing supergran” Janey Cutler has died aged 82, it has been revealed. The singer, who wowed the judges and audience with her rendition of Je Ne Regrette Rien on last year’s show, was found dead at her home yesterday, The Sun reports today.

The mum of 7, grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 4 made it all the way through to the Britain’s Got Talent 2010 live final, where she finished in ninth place.

Dubbed ‘NuBo’ after previous Britain’s Got Talent singing sensation Susan Boyle, Janey said at the time: “I love singing. I’m glad I’m getting to experience the good life and have some fun.”

Judge Simon Cowell called her a “remarkable lady” while Piers Morgan described her vocals as “astonishing”.

Grandson Ian Scott said on Facebook: “Good night rest in peace oor wee granny, mother and friend to all. [sic]”
