Because they won the shopping task, and the prize was to make the shopping list and go shopping for the food.
I hate it. There's no need for sending them out of the house for something like this. I assume we'll be getting one of these 'out of the house' tasks in BB12 as well.
we've had one in BB10 and BB11 and now this so it wouldn't surprise me.
