If you liked the Killing then chances are you'll like this
the first series is being run on BBC4 at the moment (the first two episodes were on last night, so catch them on iPlayer) - it's quite a similar premise: young girl is brutally murdered in Paris and the series follows the detectives' hunt for the killer.
I wouldn't say they're the same though. For starters, Spiral was broadcast in 2005
and this seems to touch more on crime and youth problems in Paris rather than a personal tragedy angle.
