I think Amy made it clear from the start that she wasn't interested in Lucien romantically. He tried to woo Amy at the beginning with his awfully misplaced sense of humour, then when that didn't work he had a crack at all the women in there in turn. Finally he's come back to Amy, presumably because he realised he's got to do something to draw attention to himself, and although they were messing around after having a drink, I can't recall Amy telling him she fancied him in any way. Every time she's asked if she fancies him, she says no, she considers him just a friend.

Not that I'm a fan of Amy...
