The point is we should not have to in this day and age pay for a licence to watch TV and all those transmitters etc could be paid for out of advertising revenues if the BBC was forced to take commercial advertising on its channel.
No need for a Licence then.
I have edited this, I could think of a very good word for the extra B I put in originally as to the BBC though
