I've not been bullied as such but have been harassed.... Which is why I firmly believe this is a good message to send out to these idiots.

Opinions on action you believe suitable? If indeed any.

Tibb 'wars' aside where people simply do not gel, is one thing, but people who go out of their way to be nasty, insulting and abusive to people online - whether on their own or in gangs - is bullying - whichever way it's put - whether that be on FB or any other social networking site or a forum.

It happens often: it is how it is handled, and how the bullies are dealt with that makes a difference - ie: are they given a clear message to condemn the bullying/harassing, do their actions show that it will not be tolerated? or is it allowed to continue and not appropriately knocked on the head right away - which gives the message that it is allowed, which in turn, gives free passage to allow those doing the bullying to continue- and get worse because they do get away with it.

As far as the linked story is concerned: that's a more extreme version of what we see happening all the time. As for linked story: guy got (legally) less than he deserved, time wise imo. I'm sure he'll be experiencing bullying on the other side of the fence soon. I'm sure he won't find it so funny as he had done in the past.
