Can't wait to see all the anti-Big Brother comments in the DM's comment box in a few hours.
Honestly though, we all knew this. While an average of around 1.4m is bad for Big Brother and bad compared to the price they paid for it, it's still ok for Channel 5. The worrying things to me are:
1) C5 are managing to get programmes nowadays which pull in at least 1m fairly regularly and are only a fraction of the price they pay for BB
2) ^ because of that, will they not bother renewing the contract once the two year deal is over?

I'm sure BB is still profitable for C5 because of the voting and the sponsors and ads but I know they were expecting more.
Oh, and, I know everyone on here will hate me for this but I don't think them giving us a live feed would improve the ratings at all, I just don't see it.
