I think if they just changed their name I'd happily like them but it's such an insult to the original Sugababes to carry on with the name - original Sugababes were three moody teenagers who were the polar opposite of girl bands who danced around in sexy clothes, were all smiles and singing about nothing in particular... and now look at them. They should just pick a different name and go for it, people might give them a chance if they did. Definitely embarrassing to admit you like them!
