Lucie was growing in the sho at exactly the same time as Alexandra did in 2008. I think that decision lost Simon a lot of respect and made a lot of people angry (not that he cares)

Like Simon said both had no chance of winning, although Lucie was more talented they've both done well after the show and she was dignifed about her exit despite the disappointment and she said Jedward worked hard.

For business reasons Simon realised he had to keep Jedward in for a bit longer because of their crazy antics and controversial element.
