Nothing wrong with having a bit of fun and if he didn't want to participate in the task then that's fair enough, but destroying toys that had been made by those who did want to win the task was highly selfish.

The task was for the shopping budget which he was fully aware of. Therefore, he should be put on rations for the rest of the week and those who participated should be rewarded for their efforts.
