It depends
Harry and Aaron seem the most intelligent with their knowledge and life astuteness.
Private school educated Anton has got an Economics degree from a top Uni I think and answered the Sir Isaac Newton question in the week 1 Girls v Boys brains task. Jay probably thinks Issac Newton plays for QPR.
BB rarely has intelligent girls. Thick girls in the Jade Goody (RIP), Helen BB2 mould apparently make good TV. None of the girls this year are particularly bright, but were mainly chosen by how good they look in a bikini. Whereas the males were chosen for their characters. No really posh girls either (Maisy isn't really posh just affluent)
Scarily enough Heaven was the nearest we had to a fairly smart female this year. She uttered sh*te about giants but at least it showed she reads books and has interests beyond hair extensions and discussing this seasons lip gloss.
OK, Keeva last year could hold intelligent conversations that didn't involve hair straighteners, celebs, boobs, men and hair extensions and often debated religion. She was hated.
Rachael Rice BB9 and Elizabeth BB2 were smart but ultimately we couldn't laugh at their 'hilarious stupidity' and shocking lack of knowledge so were depicted as dull. Rice only won as she was a victim and spent 9 weeks being so nice it was impossible to hate her - despite having a vagina.
Shabby was very articulate (for a female BB contenst) too.
Louise this year may be not very bright, but at least is shrewd in terms of playing the game to be a popular ie likeable female ie being dumb, passive, never uttering anything to opinionated and being submissive to the men in house. Intelligent or opinionated girls are hated on BB and get booed.
Faye only seems smart when you compare her to Alex.
If you are going to have the likes of Alex then I do think you need a smart female to contrast that. Sadly 'she' wasn't chosen. I know having a degree doesn't automatically make you brainy, but a lot of young people do go to University, so it's galling that Channel 5 chose females who were WAG wannabe glamour model types rather than someone who's at least studied at the University of Lower Rochdale. Even Tom and Mark are uni drop outs.
