I love the run up to Christmas, but the day itself is always a bit of a let down -maybe because I spend half the day in the kitchen and the rest zonked out on the sofa after the Queen's Speech having imbibed too much sherry
I prefer Boxing Day. I agree with Lee that Jan/Feb are miserable, especially when all the Christmas bills come in!
