Truth be told? I don't think it is - not really on his part. It may seem better than it is in the house - having someone to be physically close to, to snuggle up to, kiss and cuddle: but I most definately don't see it going anywhere long term.
She's everything he doesn't like - she's confrontational, she drinks to the point of embarrassing herself, she curses, she's not intelligent enough - and I mean in respect of life experience, not necessarily academically. They are poles apart to the point that I don't see it any more than a convenient house romance for both parties concerned.
