I have a theory about the biased editing and manipulation - it's all to maximise voting revenue. Taking this week as an example, BB manipualted in the following ways:

Taking Jay and Anton into the Crypt, but only revealing this after the nominations were in. Both of these were on the ropes in the power struggle between them and Aaron, but were given an opportunity to gain the upper hand from seeing live footage. It suits BB to have fairly equal divisions in the house as it means fans of each side are more likely to vote en masse for any member of their favourite's group - e.g. aaron/faye fans voting for Harry and Jem this week to get Anton or Jay out.

Blatantly fixing the result of the task to make sure it was successful, then editing the footage to cover this up in the main show. Anton and Jay failed the task, they were found out and we know this because in other footage we saw Louise talking to them through the door and Faye's comment as she entered the crypt "Ooh, i wonder who could be in those 2 coffins?". Only Jay and anton should have been up, but that wouldn't raise much in votes between those 2 as they were both from the same side in the house.

This resulted in 4 people being up for eviction and much more voting revenue than they'd have got from just Jay and Anton.

This seems to apply to previous weeks too where there'd been manipulation that dictated who was up for eviction.
