Funny you say that Locke.... I too, have always considered the OP as male - which is precisely why I did not refer to gender in my first post on here. Seems I wasn't alone in my thinking.

given that you say you are female, single, footloose and fancy free and have no friends, (otherwise you wouldn't be going out on the razz all on your own) - how come that you 'give out' the impression that you do go out on your own and not infrequently: how come you've not managed to make friends during your nights out?
