Hi Charlie, is there anyone close to you that you can unload to? It is very important to share how you are feeling with someone you can trust. If you really feel you can't then please ask to see a counsellor. When you can talk about what's bothering you, another person's viewpoint can often help you to put your problems and concerns into perspective. It could even be that you are suffering from depression which is an easily treatable condition and medical intervention can make all the difference to how you deal with life and all it throws at you.

You are still so young, and at a very impressionable and momentous time in your life, being as you are on the verge of adulthood with all the unknown and often exciting things that may bring in the future. Believe me, it is entirely normal for you to have feelings of anxiety, apprehension, even futility sometimes. That just shows that you are a sensitive and empathetic person. No one can deny that the world can often be a not very nice place at all, but it would be the poorer if you were not in it
