She should butt out of her sister's life. She had a proper cheek trying to "have a word" with Aaron, her sister's an adult (believe it or not) and Jem has no right to stick her beak in.

And all that stuff about how upset and disappointed Faye's Mother and all their family and friends would be in her... bitchy - but not even clever-bitchy... just spiteful, amateur bitchy. No wonder there's been a rift between them. Jem seemed nice giving up the rowing task for Alex, but personally I think she wasn't going to win anyway. She isn't nearly as fit as she thinks she is but she made a big thing about looking magnanimous and stepping aside for Alex.
