Whether Jem and her mother have concerns or doubts over Aaron...she is a grown up and they have to accept that she is entitled to make her own decisions.....it isn't just Aaron...it's the smoking..the alcohol....everything, Jem has not only voiced her disapproval, she has tried to enforce her wishes on Faye.....ironic really as 'being controlling' is the very thing she's accusing Aaron of. Faye's mum has done nothing to reassure Faye, in fact she's sent a clear message that she supports Jems opinions...she has taken sides....on National T.V.......how does she think that will make Faye feel...a real kick in the teeth
