It is possible that Jay has not even thought it out to that level. He would, naturally, be more concerned with how he comes across; thus, whatever happens to Aaron is of no consequence to him; at least not at this stage. Jay has, without doubt, an over-blown opinion of himself, even stating he presumed himself in the final. He still probably assumes that he can win, but is concentrating on securing his position by attempting to come across well. Far too late for that in my humble opinion.
