Now, he's got some stiff competition, and a few of us might have mixed loyalties, but Mr Clarke has been shortlisted for most attractive man of the week. Let's show our support. At the very least he has to beat Jamie Oliver and Charlie Sheen!

Thank God I was not at my usual newsagents, but in Waterloo Station, loitering in WH Smiths while waiting for my late train when I saw this. I let out a bit of a squeak that had a cashier laughing at me, but I didn't care. I was a woman on a mission.
The anticipation of reading it got too much. I had a lot to carry and was desperate to get on that train so I could read it in comfort. People probably thought I had an important meeting I was going to be late for, but little did they know! Even the ticket inspector did a double take when he saw what I was reading.
