He has likely realised now what a controlling family she has, that his every move towards her will be watched or enquired about.
I think that if he has any sense at all, he should now know any relationship with Faye would be destroyed by them.

I can almost see it, he and Faye get together out of the house, a few months down the line they near or do split up and he'd then have Mummy, Sister and Sisters boyfriend all calling him again saying he had the benefit of the doubt and failed.
It would never ever be Faye's fault at all.

Best to wake up now and walk away, as hard as that may be,this is a family that seems to be a nightmare.Far too interfering, possessive and controlling.
