I completely agree with you.
I think I have said good things about every housemate, and bad things about every housemate- including my favourites.
Of course everybody has faults, excuses don't have to be made for every single thing they do, or trying to switch it to another housemate such as : well lets forget about the topic we are actually discussing, and just throw in something bad another housemate did.

I also hate the insulting fans thing. There are housemates I haven't liked this series, I have disagreed, but I don't think I have personally attacked any fan.
The amount of comments I've seen online (not just here) for Jay fans is pretty sad. They get called chavs, stupid teenagers, sheep, get accused of being really dumb/having a low IQ, and it is insinuated that they are some kind of degenerates. I've seen people also insinuate that Jay is a violent monster who would be violent towards women and would probably slap Louise around, and that his fans must be thugs. Crazy and very unfair presumptions get made.
