The fart kind of symbolises why I dislike Jay and Alex. They can't really be witty so have to resort to dumb act or bawdy humour ie farting. Jay *knows* full well that Harry and Aaron are wittier and more interesting than him. He even admitted that Aaron is the most interesting housemate, so he has to do all he can do, fart. Hence all the 15 year olds will find that hilarious.
