However, the crux of this (and it applies to Jem as well, to be fair) is that people are not generally one dimensional (although quite a few reality 'stars' seem to be trying to disprove this!).
If there's one area which confuses people, it's probably love/romance, especially people who like to feel they have a firm grip on their life and where it's going.
If we entertain the scenario that Aaron does have feelings for Faye, he may well feel "oh, there's no hope, she wants a Range Rover, it's all doomed!" one day and then the next realise that despite this he can't shake the fact that, actually, she still floats his boat.
If it were all so simple, there'd be a lot more happy endings in life...
And I'm totally aware that my current perceptions of the show could be wrong but that's half the fun of watching it! It evolves and challenges assumptions!

Ahh well as long as you are willing to evolve along with events then you really should of seen a different image of Aaron tonight imo, and not a different side to Harry.
Faye's mum will be fuming tonight after hearing what H had to say and likely feel like ram raiding the elstree studios to get her daughter away from the clutches of an accused Faye manipulator.
I know it's all for the game, i just think there are limits, and we are looking at them now.
