I think he was just really bitter that he was evicted & rather than take it out on Jem (who he got embarrassed about when Emma quoted what he said he'd do to her when he got out & realised her boyfriend was in the audience) he decided to take it out on Aaron, in a "If I'm not going to win, I don't want him to either" kind of way...
