A man in Spain withdrawing from a cash machine was surprised when a snake came out along with his money.
The incident happened in the early morning, according to local police. When the middle-aged client from Llodio, Álava came across the reptile, he quickly snatched the money before calling the authorities.
Officers were dispatched to the Caja Madrid bank, where they found that the snake was stuck in the cash machine.
The bank manager eventually came to free the animal and it was taken to a shelter.
