The 8,000-mile route of the 2012 Olympic torch relay around the UK has been revealed.
The torch will be taken within an hour's journey of 95% of the population as it passes through 1,018 villages, towns and cities.
The London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (Locog) has confirmed all the locations through which the Olympic flame will be carried by torchbearers.
On parts of the journey, torchbearers will carry the flame on horseback, by bicycle, tram and steam train.
The street-by-street detail of the route will be confirmed next year.
