I think Jay has really struggled in the house, more than the others really. He lacks the mental fortitude and strength of character to get through something like that without suffering mentally. Alex and Tom, though not the brightest have at least found ways of entertaining themselves to stave off boredom, Louise even has managed to get through it without too much of a breakdown. Aaron has struggled a bit, but seems to have got through it by staying focused on why he's doing it and seeing light at the end of the tunnel, but Jay seems lost without being able to do his usual routine activities and it's manifested itself in his aggressive behaviour and occassional losses of temper.
