...it would have been interesting to see what big brother would have done, as he only has £990. Say he wanted to buy a gift for more than he was owed, would they have allowed him? Essentially he could have taken the show to the cleaners unless they got him to sign a binding agreement to pay the money when he got out (surely unlikely?).

I guess they absolutely banked on Aaron saying no, and it causing some kind of argument. Very clever ploy for big brother (probably a first this series), as it's fairly obvious they were only doing the task to look for an Aaron vs Jay/Louise style tiff. I just wish Aaron had called their bluff and played along. What would they have done if he wanted to buy a £1000 for each of them...
