It's a lot easier to explain too.
Most people fall/submit to other peoples projections (1-6)
But deep down, we work out those projections are false, pretty soon.
By Aaron saying "I'm sick of pretending to like people so they don't put me up".
He is stating 2 things.
1) He knows peoples projections are false, & he's sick of pretending he's as stupid as everyone else for going along with them.
2) "He's now stating that, 'even at the cost of being unpopular-nominated.etc'"
That he isn't scared any more, and is gonna be himself.
As for your Alex's winnings dilema.
Theres not a chance in hell she's gonna split £30k.
1) She robbed a blind pensioner.
2) When asked (in the diary room) "what will you do with your £30k"
She blatantly avoided any possibility of sharing.
