The principle that Aaron is trying to make across is that it is just an effort from Louise and Jay to buy votes , and not the intention that was behind the gifts, the fact that they needed to hide the gesture from Aaron and exclude him in an desperate attempt to gain sympathy from the viewers, and the incessant aggressiveness from Louise and Jay to point out how expansive the gifts were is just so vulgar and a proof of their guilt of doing it for that sole reason (vote buying)
