Sorry in advance to people that smoke! But I have quite strong views on this subject!

I have to agree with Laura (Princess) on this one.

What is the point of smoking? To make you feel good about yourself? Living long enough to see my children grow up and enjoy their lives will make me feel good about myself!

Smoking is dirty, smelly and pointless. Why not just crouch down onto a road and eat some newly-laid tar? It'll be just about as good for you!

Perhaps my views come from the fact that whenever someone smoked near me when I was younger, I would get a nasty eye infection. I was once told that if I ever smoked, I could put serious strain on my internal organs, due to an otherwise un-noticed heart condition. I just don't see what people want to achieve by smoking, it's just an utter waste of good money.

I do realise that peer pressure plays a part in some people taking up smoking, but at the end of the day, it's your life, live it how you want to: just say no! Let's face it, if your "mates" force you to try a cigarette, and you don't want to, a true "mate" would respect that.

Ok, rant over! So, to summarise: No! Lool!
