I love Black Sabbath to death but hate metal as it's mostly a load of old shit full of unimaginative but often technically brilliant music and awful, cliched lyrics along with embarrasing imagery most people have grown out of by the time they hit late puberty. A lot of metal fans are also absoloutely brutal for reverse snobbery and being a bit clueless to anything but metal, too. Not all of them though obviously.

Not too big on punk either but I like some grunge [Alice In Chains in particular]. Most guitar music I listen to I guess is what you could call ... but I hate saying it ... 'alternative rock'. Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, REM, The Smiths, The Cure etc etc.

Industrial & electronic is where it's at.
