Alex would have beaten Jay simply as I don't think Jay's air time would have increased without Aaron but Alex's would have. We would have seen more of her 'Barbie pink' talk, dancing, happy house, more BB producer contrived 'hilarious' tasks, more 'tin foil' songs with Tom and her kisses with him would have been shown more and Emma W would have taken the kissing more seriously until it became a talking point to rival JayLou. Jay's mum would have bussed in load of Geordie's to try and discredit Alex as being a fake Geordie etc. Anton would have reached the final (Aaron and evicted Rebeckah were the only ones to suss him early enough. Harry sort of liked him). Aden still would have been evicted early. Jay's big 'storyline' (apart from the wolfpack trying to take down Aaron) was Louise. That wouldn't have changed.
What really stopped the others from winning (apart from the fact that Aaron was too entertaining/ gave people something to talk about) was that none of the other housemates got the balance right between air time worthiness and likeability. Anton began to get air time around about his birthday/ burger task but wasn't likeable. Alex was likeable but too dull to get air time. Aaron -whilst not being as likeable as Alex or Mark - made up for it by being more likeble than Anton, Jay and Aden, and able to get more air time. So in an non-Aaron house the final would have been Mark (would have stayed but realised that Alex, Aaron and Jay were strong competition), Jay, Alex, Anton and Louise would have been evicted the day before ala Tom. Tashie, Heaven and Rebeckah would have all been evicted in same weeks I think.
