I felt so awful for ages afterwards that I'm actually considering changing my character to a good guy and doing some healing and pilgrimage related stuff.

the guy dies anyway
after you refuse to kill him he says he will make a run for it back to dawnstar then he just stands there and 2 summoned dremora come and kill him in like 2 seconds
and the word wall that is in the place where you get one of the razor pieces from wasnt working for me, the place where you have to kill the hagraven
