I think they will lead the viewers into thinking someone new will come in and change the whole pub into something most viewers will hate. Then as time moves on it will end up in the arms of someone that doesn't intend changing the place from it's roots.
Can you imagine the public out-cry if they closed it down and turned it into something completely different..?
