Nobody really knows the size of their fan base. Considering the 4 girls come from 3 different counties, and not forgetting people also vote for the mentor too, that's a lot more combined votes than a solo artist.

Marcus has been consistent but will be dropped like Joe McElderry.
I don't mind Amelia coming 2nd because being a winner seems to be a curse on this show. Look at JLS/Olly/Rebecca etc all going on to do good things, and besides Olly, also free of having to give Cowell a large percentage of their earnings.

Jedward and Diana Vickers have also done incredibly well. I think Jedward 6th in 2009 and Diana 5th in 2008?
