The 28-year-old reality star was refused permission to make a statement to the court about her relationship with the Manchester United midfielder - named at the hearing only as CTB.
The former Big Brother contestant is accused of attempting to blackmail the player out of £100,000 for her silence following an affair.
After considering the evidence Mr Justice David Eady today dismissed her application to be allowed to make a statement about the case in open court.
His judgement was handed down behind closed doors at a brief hearing attended by Miss Thomas, who smiled but said nothing as she emerged from court.
Her solicitor David Price QC said she was refused permission to make a statement in court.
The case now goes to a full trial next March.
