Christmas has become too commercial and it's a real shame.
My cousin is a prime example.
She has three young children and she's spent a mind boggling fortune on them. PS3's and iPod's. The oldest is 6
The three kids are the most spoilt little bastards going and the only concept they have of Christmas is presents, not family.

It's true though. Guy I used to work with - they had 2 young boys, spent literally a few grand on each of them for Xmas pressies.
3 days later he came in after the Christmas break, and said he was popping out to pick up a new TV for one of the boys.....I thought it was a present that he couldn't get in time for the big day....but oh no, the boy (an 8 year old) was being given it as a wee extra because had behaved himself over Christmas - having had thousands spent on him.
