After a three year hiatus, Punk'd resumed production for a ninth season on August 26, 2011.[3] For the ninth season, each episode will feature a different celebrity host "punking" a different celebrity target. It has been revealed that the season premiere will follow Justin Bieber punking Taylor Swift.[4]
