Because he isn't a celebrity. And he isn't talented. He can't sing, He's famous for being a drug-addled drunk. Only those who read the tabloids and trash mags know him as anything more than someone who was chucked out of the XFactor. Most people couldn't pick him out of a small crowd if it wasn't for his ridiculous haircut.
