From my vantage point (thousands of miles away looking into the UK), it seems to me that new credes just as dogmatic and harmful as religion have sprung up and filled in the vacuum left by a lack of religion. Rabid environmentalism so extreme that they'll make
commercials of children exploding as punishment when they refuse to reduce their carbon footprint. An obsession with racial equality that is so unhealthy they'll forego freedom of speech and arrest someone who accuses someone clearly not born in the UK of not being English
while on a train.
The UK isn't as religious as the US. But I'd be lying if I said I was jealous considering what has replaced religion in your country.
