Denise is an alcoholic, which is a mental condition at the end of the day, no matter how much it has been glamorized.
I think Denise should be judged on what she brings to the house, not on one single comment she made to some hollywood actor when she was pissed. She is a nice lady, but she is very complex, which is why she is perfect for big brother.
It does seem strange that she is getting hate now, when all she did was get a bit moody, get over it. It makes good telly.
