I had intended to be Grandma but my son-in-law's parents decided they would be Nanna and Grandad, so my grandaughter flatly refused to call me Grandma
. In the end I gave up and I'm now Nanna. Oh well!
My son and his wife are having a baby any day now and I am going to try for Grandma again but I suspect it won't work! What does it matter anyway. I certainly don't see My OH as grandpa though, sounds like a Victorian patriarch!
