I've just done this for my English Speaking Coursework.
I was against it for many reasons...
Innocent people dying because of it, it's the easy way out for criminals; IMO, they should face what they've done and do life in prision rather than a 10 seconds execution, they could come out at the end of it a better person, it could have been done in self-defence and the only way they could stop themself being killed was to actually kill the person etc and many more reasons for why i'm against it. The main one being is that it's been proven that innocent people have died because of it.
I know the death penalty is used for other crimes but i was refering to murder above ^^ but i'm really against it, it definatly shouldn't be brought back.
