I think the producers cast Romeo as the stereotypical bad boy Rapper and when they realised he is different from that they edited out him of the HL for a while, although Romeo was quiet and needed to come out of his shell more.

They've obviously picked up on the forums/social networks noticing the lack of Romeo airtime and decided to shut some people up.

Romeo is polite, cool, well mannered and I would rather watch him than the same predictable antics some certain housemates are showing.
