For example premoting research/investigation into finding the cure for cancer is more viable for the govererment then the actual cure.

If they were so conserned about the economy they would be SHOUTING at the banks DEMANDING they pay back their currupt loans. No, the goverment is best friends with the banks and wouldn't want to upset there "innocent" souls.

It all adds up really.

i think the banks did repay their loans, and also the Auto industry did too. I was watching a show the other day about how the US government actually made a profit from the bailouts in 2008.
