Ok then Favourite films, impossible to decide of course, so I thought I'd try categories of films:
Best musical: Sound of music, Meet me in St Louis, and Doris Day musical particularly, Calamity Jane
Best gangster type film, The Godfather, both 1&2, fantastic films and Al Pacino, whoooohhh!!
Best Romantic film: The English Patient,
Most innovative film: Pulp Fiction
Best film with strong women: All About Eve, Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe, Thelma and Louise.
Best black and white film:So many but some faves are, It's a Wonderful Life, Harvey, Bringing up Baby. Also All About Eve, in fact any Bette Davis film really.
Best comedy: Some Like it Hot
