My thought is that the first stages of the auditions are to determine whether or not you're a marketable "character" who is capable of being fairly articulate and interesting while filling a certain role (hottie, geek, bully, posho etc). Then from the group stage onwards it's more about trying to find the best combination of people, based on how they interact with the group (I bombed my last one as I didn't really connect with that bunch; I know I can do a lot better but I'm not going to apply as I think they'll hold that group stage against me).

Good luck getting through if you really want it. Though I'm a bit scared you'll be another Aaron if you got so much extra 'screentime' than the rest I'm hoping for a much more balanced cast this time.
